Privacy that makes sense
We collect what we need to run Partifly, we tell you why, and we don’t sell it.
What we collect
Your email address, username, display name and picture. The messages, photos and files you send, the groups and plans they belong to, and who said they were coming. We also store which devices you’re signed in on, and how far you’ve read in each group so the unread counts are right. Turn notifications on and we store what your browser needs to receive them.
Why we collect it
To get your messages where they’re going, to show you who’s coming, and to stop anyone else getting into your account. None of it goes towards advertising, because we don’t run any.
Who else touches it
Two companies. Firebase handles signing in, so your password is held there and not by us. Stripe handles payments, so your card details go to them and never reach us. All we get back is which item you bought.
What we never do
We don’t sell your data or hand it to advertisers, and we don’t read your messages. There’s no feed here to rank them for anyway.
What you can change
Your display name, username and picture are on the profile page. Your password, whether signing in asks for an emailed code, and every device you’re signed in on are under security, and you can sign out any of those devices from there. Notifications work per browser, so you turn them off in the browser you turned them on. You can’t change your email address yet; write to us and we’ll change it for you.
Deleting things
You can delete your own messages, leave a group, or delete a group you own. You can’t close your account yourself yet. Ask us on Discord and we’ll delete it and everything on it.
